Joël Thierry Retornaz was born September 20, 1983 in Geneva, Switzerland. Graduated from Senior High School of Economy, Law and Business Management of Trento, in Italy, specializing in modern languages, Retornaz starts his business career very early owning and managing a restaurant. After several years in the business he has become a protagonist thanks to his keen insight for innovations and positive attitude to marketing strategies.
Always ready to make sacrificies and a working hard mentality have made him excel in sport too. For many years he has been a top athlete of the Italian National Curling Team. He was the Capitain of the Italian Team at several International Events like the Men's World Championships in 2005 and 2010 and the XX Olympic Winter Games in Torino 2006.
